Description

This vintage Crystal Rain kaleidoscope by Steve and Peggy Kittelson comes from a private collection. This limited edition parlor scope has 2 mirror systems, a 2 mirror, 9 point system and a 3 mirror system. The exterior is formed by fusing dichroic pieces onto a "draped" or "slumped dichroic glass barrel. The sleek curved base and pedestal are made of solid hand-rubbed walnut which features fused dichroic "raindrops" which match the barrel. Objects are flame-sculpted glass pieces. Front-lit image. the scope is signed, dated & numbered. Total dimensions: 13" x 11.5" x 5.5". Scope body is 11.5" x 2.5" diameter.
